Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Steps
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in sliced green onions.
